October 2, 2008 - Road Trip
Here it is... my first update in almost a year. This has been quite an exiting year.. so much that I just couldn't find the time to update this thing. We went to Disney World in January. We got a dog in April. I got a motorcycle. We went to Ohio. And today we returned from a trip to North Carolina on the motorcycle. Here are the pics from that trip.
December 28, 2007 - Happy New Year (almost there!)
The year 2007 treated us very well. We were lucky enough to be able to do a lot of traveling, including:
- 2 trips to Ohio
- A few trips to Raleigh, North Carolina
- A skiing trip to Lynchburg, Virginia
- Charlotte, North Carolina a few times (plus a NASCAR race!)
- Charleston, South Carolina a couple times
- A cruise from Jacksonville, FL to the Bahamas
- Asheville, North Carolina for a concert and some hiking
It also marked the first full year I've spent out of the Navy since 1996! I'm glad I did the Navy thing, but I don't think I'll ever look back with envy. It definitely gives me a huge appreciation for all that our Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen are doing around the world every day.

Last week, I went out on the lake with a few friends from work. I rode a jetski and fell in love with it. It's like a motorycycle on the water. As soon as I have the money, I'm getting one! Here are some pics from it:

May 20, 2007 - We're officially rednecks now!
Yesterday, we went to a Nascar race to finish off our initiation to being southerners. We had a blast, too! Click on the graphic below to see pictures from it.
I also added another video. This one was recorded a few years ago in Ohio... playing with the 4-wheelers at Tina and Chad's.
May 18, 2007 - Old Scorpion Video
On one of our trips to Thailand a few years ago, we saw a food stand where they were selling fried scorpion. I wanted to get a couple so that I could say I've tried them, but when it came "game time," my attitude changed a little. Nat's cousin liked them though!
May 4, 2007 - Another plethora
I have a LOT of pictures to share. We've done quite a bit in the past few months. We went to Ohio for Christmas. We've had some visitors down here. We've gone to Charleston, and we picked up a new hobby called "Geocaching." We went on a canoe trip too.Click here to see all the pics.
